La Finca Golf

The prestigious "La Finca" golf club is situated at the foot of Mount Escotera, in the municipality of**orfa, right in the heart of the Segura region and is 30 minutes drive from Alicante airport and within 20 minutes drive from the tourist centre of Torrevieja and the superb beaches at Guardamar.
La Finca golf course was completed in 2000 and now has a selection of new luxury villas available. The same builders that developed the Villamartin area are now working on La Finca so the quality will be second to none.
A new course opened in 2002. In the same group as Villamartin and Las Ramblas, so you are assured quality. Superb greens and bermuda grass fairways combine to make a fantastic course. Basic clubhouse (a new one is to be built soon with a hotel) with some building going on around the course, but don't let that put you off playing, you will enjoy yourself!
La Finca has a pro shop, driving range, practise putting green, chipping area & bunker. Great "19th hole" with a nice restaurant. Credit cards accepted. Handicap certificates are required (I've never been asked) men 28, ladies 36. La Finca is a golfing oasis placed in picturesque rural surroundings with great mountain views. Ideally located for those who want to play golf in the heart of the country, while at the same time being able to enjoy the areas best beaches close by.

La Finca has been designed to host top tournaments. Several lakes with running water & reed beds along the course add beauty & difficulty to the game, making the course the home of a wide variety of migratory water birds, such as ducks & egrets. The interior of the course is home to olive & palm trees, creating a beautiful backdrop of vegetation with a distinctly Mediterranean flavour.
